Henderson hails from a tobacco family. For two decades, his father William Ventura worked for Davidoff. In 2007, William launched his own business, Tabacalera William Ventura. Henderson is the general manager of this family cigar business. In addition to the AdVentura cigar brand, which Henderson Ventura created with Marcel Knobel, the factory also produces premium long fillers for many other boutique D.R. brands, including Caldwell Cigars and La Barba.
